Privacy Policy
How we handle information collected through this site, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy explains how STAGGS Tax & Real Estate Advisory (“STAGGS,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website. It covers the website only; information shared within a client engagement is governed by the applicable engagement agreement and professional confidentiality obligations.
Information we collect
- Information you choose to submit. The site’s inquiry forms collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the details you choose to share about your real estate and tax questions.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, which we use only to operate and secure the site.
No tracking
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels, and it does not set cookies. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard request data (such as your IP address) when your browser downloads a font file. If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
How we use information
- To review and respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, discuss a potential engagement.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
We do not use inquiry information for marketing lists without your consent, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and respond to you: our website host, Hostinger; Google Fonts, which serves the site’s typefaces; and the email service that hosts our firm mailbox. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
The inquiry forms do not transmit anything to us automatically. When you submit one, your own email program opens with the details you entered already filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send. Your inquiry therefore travels directly from you to our firm mailbox: it is not routed through this website, our web host, or any form-processing service, and no copy is stored on the website.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to handle your inquiry and maintain ordinary business records, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission is completely secure: please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax documents through this website. If we work together, we will provide a secure portal for exchanging documents.
Your privacy rights
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Whether or not a particular law applies to a firm of our size, we honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests as a matter of practice. To make a request, email estaggs@staggsadvisory.com; we will verify and respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is directed to adults and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on this page.
Effective date: July 17, 2026. This page was last updated on July 17, 2026. Questions about this page: estaggs@staggsadvisory.com.
